Many times in my career I have had the pleasure of being referred to a new client by an existing contact who has changed companies. It is a wonderful thing to be referred to as an asset and “brought along”.  Gaining a new client but having the familiarity and established working relationship of a previous contact is a true gift. You feel as though you are starting as a combined effort—a unified force. And when the new company loves your work? Awesome sauce!

In building and retaining working partnerships, never lose sight of the personal relationships and how meaningful they are to the work. Having an almost unspoken understanding of how clients work is tantamount to the project’s end-goal. I always try to achieve this balance and appreciate the ongoing relationships/friendships of all of my clients.
